Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to Quinet Calculator ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit quinetcalc.com (the "Site"). By using our Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Enter Into Calculators

All calculations on Quinet Calculator are performed entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into our calculators (such as salary, age, loan amount) are never sent to our servers and are not stored, logged, or shared.

b) Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our Site, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect:

  • Your IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website (how you found us)
  • Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)

This data is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies and is used for analytics and advertising purposes.

2. Quinet Community

Quinet Calculator includes an optional Community section (quinetcalc.com/community) where you can create an account to ask and answer questions. Using the Community is optional — the rest of the Site, including all calculators, can be used without an account.

a) Account Information

When you sign up for the Community, we collect your email address, the username you choose, and a password. Your password is encrypted and is never visible to us in plain text. Authentication and account storage are handled by our backend provider, Supabase (see "Third-Party Data Processors" below).

b) Content You Post

Questions, answers, your username, and your profile picture/bio shared in the Community are publicly visible to anyone who visits those pages. Please don't include sensitive personal information in your posts. You can delete your own questions and answers at any time.

c) Votes & Saved Posts

We store the votes (likes/dislikes) you cast on questions, which is used to display total counts publicly. Saved/bookmarked posts are private and are visible only to you.

d) Third-Party Data Processor

Community accounts and content are stored and processed using Supabase, a third-party backend service. Supabase processes this data on our behalf under its own security practices; you can review Supabase's policies at supabase.com/privacy.

e) Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Community account and associated data, contact us at the email address in the Contact section below.
